Fifth-generation French winemaker Paul Bosc established Château des Charmes in 1978. By the time Paul and his young family settled in Niagara in the 1960s, they were certain that farming their own grapes was the key to producing high-quality vino. They're firm believers in the Estate Winery model, and they exclusively use grapes they grow themselves to produce their wine.
