This winery is packed with history. The family acquired the land in the 18th century, and it’s been in the family for 6 generations. In 1984, the family converted the concord and Niagara grapevines to old-world vinifera grapes. You can read more about the history and progression of the winery on their WEBSITE.

Overall, Henry on Pelham is an excellent winery for delicious (and beautiful) wine.  They adhere to the Sustainable Winemaking Ontario standards and are certified by the Wine Council of Ontario.

Jackson Triggs Winery

KONZELMANN ESTATE WINERY started its roots in Uhlbach, Germany over 100 years ago. Now, it’s located in Niagara-on-the-Lake as the area’s only lakefront winery.

It offers an authentic German touch with a castle-like estate and stunning views. They implement some of their original cultures with unique drink creations. Of course, the lakefront views add quite a nice touch.

We recommend trying out their baco noir semi-dry with peach wine ice cream!
